Joseph H. Saleh

Associate Professor
Daniel Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering
Montgomery Knight (MK) Bldg., Rm 321-1
Dr. Saleh’s research cover three broad themes: (1) spacecraft reliability and multi-state failure analysis; (2) programmatic systems engineering as it pertains to space systems, focusing on value-informed design and acquisition of spacecraft, and examining its temporal dimension of systems engineering, including flexibility, on-orbit obsolescence, and schedule risk; and (3) accident causation and system safety (across different industries). He currently serves as an Associate Editor of the journal Reliability Engineering and System Safety, and the IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems. Dr. Saleh is the author, with Dr. Castet of, “Spacecraft reliability and multistate failure analysis” (Wiley, 2011).
